This week's episode is a little shorter than usual but we still manage to review four games:
Shiba Inu House
Kodama: The Tree Spirits
We also (briefly) discuss overused themes in board games.
John Sandy makes a triumphant return, but first, we talk to a couple of other podcasters. First up is Alexandra Bowser, the host of Arthur, Mommy, Movie Time. She gives us her review of Cars 3 and discusses what it's like to have one of the youngest co-hosts in the business. Then we call Brent Fullen, the creator and host of The Home Video Hustle. Brent gives us a peek into the process he uses to subject his co-host PJ to all sorts of cinematic torture. In the second segment John joins Justine, Patrick, Jake, and I to give us his impression of Wonder Woman. Jake and I give a recap of E3, and then we discuss the trouble with the young Han Solo movie.
Please help our friends by visiting their sites and giving their podcasts a listen.
Thanks to the generosity of Robert Carlos, I was able to attend the E3 Convention in Los Angeles! I took along my recorder to capture our impressions of what we saw. Along the way, we met a lot of great people, a few of whom agreed to be interviewed for this show. No portion of this was recorded in the studio so the sound quality varies. There's also a bit of a tragedy that I reveal in the closing.
I hope you enjoy our adventures as much as we did.
Justine and I review the forthcoming Purrlock Holmes from IDW games and Ghosts Love Candy from Steven Jackson games. Then we welcome Rod, Nick, and Mehran who share with us their love of Settlers of Catan.
Justine and I are joined by best friends Rodrigo and Nick. We give a spoiler free review of Wonder Woman, and then Nick helps us navigate the murky waters of Tinder. We also play a rousing game of Choose One, and Rodrigo and Nick recommend stuff to our listeners.
